Including matched funds from the Houston Endowment, schools in the remedy group had a mean of $14.sixty seven annually per scholar to facilitate and improve partnerships with arts organizations and establishments. In addition to arts education professional growth for college leaders and lecturers, students on the 21 remedy colleges obtained, on common, 10 enriching arts academic experiences across dance, music, theater, and visual arts disciplines. Schools partnered with cultural organizations and institutions that offered these arts studying opportunities through before- and after-school applications, area trips, in-school performances from skilled artists, and teaching-artist residencies.
