Casita Maria, headquartered in the South Bronx, was established in 1934 by Claire and Elizabeth Sullivan as the first charitable organization to serve Latinos in New York Metropolis. A balanced, complete, and sequential program of study in the Arts allows Arizona’s students to study and apply twenty first-Century expertise and behaviors that foster essential pondering, collaboration, communication, and artistic drawback fixing.
She began with Framing Education as Artwork: The Octopus Has a Good Day (New York: Lecturers School Press, 2005); continued quickly thereafter with Why Our Colleges Want the Arts (New York: Lecturers Faculty Press, 2008), Extraordinary Gifted Children: The Power and Promise of Particular person Consideration (New York: Academics Faculty Press, 2010), and Why Our Excessive Faculties Want the Arts (New York: Lecturers School Press, 2012).
