IVHQ’s reasonably priced Arts and Music volunteer initiatives allow international volunteers to be immersed in new creative environments with new cultural influences to share their skills and foster creative learning among students overseas. The students in the study who received music instruction had improved sound discrimination and fine motor tasks, and mind imaging confirmed changes to the networks in the brain associated with these talents, based on the Dana Foundation, a private philanthropic organization that supports mind research.

The BA (Hons) Arts-Music combines two kinds of studying. At the College of the Arts, our Ph.D. is about essentially changing the way our students assume. The BAM requires about twice as many courses within the liberal arts and sciences (sixty six hours) than the Bachelor of Music (24-30) hours.

As well as, the BA in music generally is a basis for work in lots of other arts-related areas, together with arts administration, music publishing, journalism and music remedy. The vehicle we use to do it is a portfolio of performing arts packages, and our mission is to help them develop and exhibit the qualities needed to realize excellence in both their program and their personal lives.
