The Master of Arts in Communication affords sensible and applied information, taught by the social scientists who study effective communication and the practitioners who use it. Electives interact college students by having them tackle real-life communication points, develop usable communication skills, and build a robust portfolio. Offered jointly between the UPF Division of Communication and the UPF Barcelona College of Management, the Grasp of Arts in Communication Administration is a one-12 months, full-time program taught entirely in English targeted at college students who are especially fascinated in the areas of company communication, place branding, transmedia methods, and digital communication.
The Department of Visible Arts, affords a novel surroundings for the study of nice arts in the areas of glass blowing and casting, ceramics and sculpture, printmaking, portray, and other traditional mediums that coexist with interdisciplinary studies in photography, pc graphics, digital design, and e-book arts.
Students pursuing the Concurrent Program will full four graduate-level courses; these programs may also depend in direction of the completion of the Bachelor’s degree in any of the 4 majors supplied by the Communication Department (see the record below for which graduate courses students may take and which undergraduate programs they are going to concurrently receive credit for).
The College of Communication graduate program leads to the degree of Master of Arts in Communication, enabling you to accumulate experience in a substantive space of communication and develop competence in strategies and abilities needed to use that information to communication problems.
The MA in Communication is designed for those who plan to go on to doctoral programs (at OSU or elsewhere), enter analysis careers within the communication industries, or those who plan to return to the communication industries for a time, but whose eventual aim may include teaching at the faculty or university level.
