The BAC (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) degree emphasizes coursework, developing competencies in particular professional areas. Concepts, research, and theories regarding health communication points at the micro degree (e.g., interactions between affected person and healthcare supplier), mezzo degree (e.g., role of knowledge in healthcare organizations) and macro level (e.g., role of media in shaping public perceptions of well being and sickness).
